The Varsity Boys' basketball team traveled to Easton Middle School to take on the Bucktail Bucks in the first round of the PIAA 1A state playoffs on 3/7/25. 

The Panthers looked to carry their momentum from the District 11 championship into this 1st round of states game. However, the Panthers got off to a bit of a slow start in this one but figured things out quickly later in the quarter. Tenacious defense did not allow the Bucks to get going which resulted in the Panthers going into halftime leading 47-17. It was all Panthers the rest of the way as they rolled to a 72-43 win. Gabe Transue, Roman Rex, and Myles Harris all played key roles in this game as they scored 24, 18, and 16 respectively. Other scorers include Nick Kasper (8), Deion Swift (5), and Caleb Primrose (1). 

With the win, the Panthers advance to the second round of the PIAA playoffs in which they will take on the Sankofa Freedom Academy Warriors. Game will be played at Central Bucks South High School today at 7:00 pm.
