Easton, PA - The BCS Boys Middle School Basketball team picked up two conference wins on Thursday and Friday. The Panthers played host to West Chester Christian and Lehigh Christian.
vs West Chester Christian
The Panthers trailed 10-8 after the first six minutes of play on Thursday afternoon. They would overcome to the small deficit in the second quarter.
Jordan Homa scored all 7 of his points in the second frame to help give the Panthers a 22-19 lead at the half. BCS held West Chester to 3 points in the 3rd quarter and increased their lead 32-22. The Panthers continued their solid play en route to a 39-29 in over West Chester.
Christian Transue scored a team high 16 points.
Carson Primrose added 9 points and
Preston Rex had 5 for the Panthers.
vs Lehigh Christian
It was all Panthers on Friday afternoon. BCS played outstanding defense and held the Mustangs to 5 total points.
Preston Rex led all scorers with 10 points.
Jordan Homa added 8 and
Christian Transue scored 6 points for the Panthers. BCS cruised to a 30-5 win.
Looking Ahead
The Panthers will close out their regular season when they travel to Calvary Baptist in Lansdale to take on the Warriors on Friday, February 10th. Tip-off is set for 4:45 pm.
