Pottstown, PA - The Varsity Girls Basketball team opened up their season at Coventry Christian School against the Eagles on 12/6/24.  

The Panthers came into this game looking to get off to a fast start to the season in which they succeeded. The Panthers played tenacious defense with allowing the Eagles to only score 10 points throughout the entire game. The offense came as well with the Panthers draining 5 threes throughout the contest. It was a wire-to-wire victory for the Panthers as they defeated the Coventry Christian School Eagles by a score of 41-10. Abby Wilson led the way for the Panthers by scoring 18 points and Giana Kasper added 9 points. Other scorers include Paige Kreidler – 5 points, Liah Cornelius – 5 points, and Elyse Khachadourian – 4 points. With this win, the Panthers start their season with a record of 1-0.

The Panthers will be in action on Tuesday, December 10th when they welcome the Spartans of Notre Dame East Stroudsburg to Pius X.  Tip is set for 6:00 pm.
