Mcgungie, PA - The middle school boys' basketball team traveled to face the Salem Christian Eagles on 12/17/24.
The Panthers played a tight match against the Salem Eagles with many lead changes and ties throughout the game. The Panthers and Eagles traded buckets towards the end of regulation which resulted in the game heading into overtime. The Panthers remained resilient however and defeated the Eagles by a score of 52-48. Omri Colbert scored 15 points to lead the scoring for the Panthers. Other scorers include Christian Kasper – 12 points, Izek Roshi – 12 points, Anthony Diehl – 6 points, Carson Primrose – 3 points, Joe Schantz – 2 points, and Ethan Wilson – 2 points. With the win, the Panthers have improved their overall record to 3-1 and 2-0 in conference play.
