Allentown, PA - The Varsity Panthers soccer team traveled to Lincoln Leadership Academy to take on the Lions on Tuesday, October 1st looking to extend their win streak.
The Panthers controlled this game from start to finish. Sophomore, Deion Swift got deep into the defense and scored within the first ten minutes of the game to put the Panthers up 1-0. The defense was able to limit the Lions to zero shots on goal in the first half which led to the Panthers having momentum for the entirety of the first. Junior, Gabe Transue was able to put the Panthers up 2-0 midway through the first half by placing the ball into the corner of the goal to extend the Panther's lead. The Panthers led 2-0 at the halftime break. After another goal by Swift in the second half, the game was secured, and the Panthers wound up winning 3-0 over the Lions. This win marks the second in a row for the Panthers to improve their record to 3-6 on the season.
