Box Score Allentown, PA - The Bethlehem Christian Panther Girls Varsity Basketball team traveled to Lincoln Leadership to take on the Lions on Tuesday evening. The Panthers and Lions tangled in a thriller. BCS would eventually fall in OT by a score of 60-50
The Panthers played their most complete game of the season. After falling behind in the first quarter, Bethlehem Christian locked down on defense only allowed 5 second quarter points while scoring 15 of their own. Going into halftime, BCS led 28-24. Things were looking good for the girls throughout the 3rd quarter as well. BCS continued to play tough defense and really shut down the Lion shooting attack. At the end of the 3rd frame, BCS led 36-31. Throughout the t4th quarter both teams traded baskets but Lincoln was able to get a couple of timely fouls and convert at the free throw line. The Lions closed the gap and tied the game late at 49-49 to send both teams to OT. Unfortunately for BCS, the Lions got hot and were able to pull away for a 60-50 win over the Panthers.
BCS has nothing to hand their head about. Three Panthers scored in double figures.

Abigail Wilson each had 12 points.
Erica Meyers added 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Panthers.

The Panthers will be back on the floor on Friday evening at the former Pius X gym in Bangor, PA when they take on the Spartans of Notre Dame East Stroudsburg. Tip is set for 6:00 pm.
