Box Score Easton, PA - The Bethlehem Christian Middle School Girls Basketball team welcomed the Bears of Quakertown Christian to BCS on Monday afternoon. The Panthers took down the Bears by a score of 26-14.
Both teams got off to a slow start to begin the contest.
Elyse Khachadourian and
Erica Meyers each made a basket to give the Panthers a 4-0 lead after quarter #1. With period #2 underway, BCS was able to get the ball moving and started to take advantage of opportunities.
Ava Grace Harris, Abigial Wilson, and
Erica Meyers combined for 8 second quarter points. That trio along with the rebounding of Meyers and
Liah Cornelius helped push the Panther's lead to 12-0 at the halftime break. BCS continued to play well on both ends of the floor and as the clock hit zero, the Panthers led on the scoreboard 26-14.
Up Next
With the the win, the Panthers now advace to the Semifinals of the ACCAC tournament. BCS will play the host school, Valley Forge Baptist on Thursday, February 17th. Tip is set for 3:00 pm.
