Easton, PA - The Bethlehem Christian Middle School teams were both victorious over the Warriors of Calvary Baptist on Monday afternoon. 

Both middle school volleyball teams entered the contest on Monday afternoon with a perfect record having not surrendered a single set.  The Warriors jumped out to a quick 6-0 lead but the Panthers answered right back.  Ana Lia Rex served BCS to 6 straight points to help pull the Panthers even at 6-6.  The back and forth contest continued throughout the first set.  It was the Panthers who came out on top to win the first set 25-23.  With the momentum on their side, BCS continued to play well into the 2nd set.  The Panthers cruised through the second set and put the Warriors away by a score of 25-14.  BCS has now won an impressive 8 matches in a row and 16 straight sets without surrendering a single set. 

Out on the soccer field, the Panthers continued their solid season.  The Panthers played tough defense and limited the scoring opportunities on the offense end for the Warriors.  Matthew Rodriguez nailed two goals for the Panthers.  Izek Roshi found the back of the net late in the second half to put the game away for the Panthers.  BCS won the contest 3-1 and improved their record to 5-1 on the season.

The Panthers will be back on the court and field on Friday, September 27th when they travel to Salem Christian.  Both games times are set for 3:45 pm.
