Easton, Pa - The Bethlehem Christian Middle School Soccer and Volleyball teams opened the ACCAC playoffs with wins on Monday afternoon.
The Panther middle school volleyball team took on the Bears of Quakertown Christian in their first round match-up. The Panthers trailed late in the first set but managed to fight their way back and win set #1 25-23. BCS again, found themselves in a tightly contested game as they played through the second set. McKenzie Wildasin, the Panthers pulled away late and won by a final score of 25-18 and win the match 2-0.

With the win, the Panthers will face Lehigh Christian Academy in the Semifinals held on Thursday, October 17th at Upper Bucks Christian School. First serve is set for 6:15 pm.
The Panther middle school soccer team played an exciting game against the Patriots of Valley Forge Baptist on Monday afternoon. With the Panthers down 2-0 and under 10 minutes,
Matthew Rodriguez lined up a shot from 20 yards out and let it fly. The ball flew past the keeper and into the back of the net to make the score 2-1 still in favor of the Patriots. With under 5 minutes to play and the score still 2-1,
Izek Roshi raced down the left side of the field and placed a perfect cross into the box. Roshi's cross found
Levi Lichtenwalner who headed the ball right into the net. Levi's header tied the game 2-2.
After two scoreless OTs', the game would be determined by penalty kicks. The Patriots manged to find the back of the net to take the early 1-0 lead. The Panther's
James Tyson took his turn and drilled a shot to even the score.
Matthew Rodriguez stepped into goal and made 4 big saves. He then took his turn and nailed the game winner into the bottom left corner of the net. The Panthers won in dramatic fashion 3-2.

With the win, the Panthers will face the winner of Calvary Baptist and Salem Christian in the semifinals on Thursday, October 17th at Upper Bucks Christian School. Kick-off is set for 3:00 pm
