Our fifth senior in our summer series is
Faith Rex. Faith is a three sport letter winner in Volleyball, Basketball, and Track. Faith is looking forward to her senior year because the Panthers return everyone to both the volleyball and basketball courts. She is looking to help to continue to build team chemistry which will lead to more wins!
What has been your favorite memory at BCS as an athlete?
During a volleyball game at Upper Bucks Christian in my junior year, my team was on fire! The crowd was crazy loud. We lost the first two sets but it had been close. We won the third set and the adrenaline was pumping! We ended up losing but i will never forget the crowd's contagious energy.
What is your favorite ice cream and why?
It fluctuates, but if i had to choose one it would be Death by Chocolate. Simply because i looooooooooooove chocolate!
What plans do you have this summer?
I plan on training and getting ready for my senior year. I'll be working as much as possible as well.
What kind of advice would you give to the underclassman and younger students for what it takes to compete at the high school level?
Competing at the high school level and representing Jesus while doing it is an incredible blessing. Everything needs to start there. I've experienced some really hard losses but have also had some exhilarating victories. At the end of the day, no matter what the score, if I represented Christ, it is a victory. That can feel unsatisfying to someone who may be extremely competitive but for me, its enough. I would tell any athlete to have fun, grow relationships, and go out there and crush your opponents (respectfully).
Thank you Faith! We are looking forward to watching you throughout your Senior Seasons!
Go Panthers!
