Easton, PA - The Bethlehem Christian Volleyball Teams each played outstanding games on Monday and Tuesday Evening. The Panthers middle school team took on the Lions of Kings Academy and won by a score of 2-0.  The Panthers Varsity team won in straight sets (3-0) against the Patriots of Valley Forge Baptist Academy. 

The girl's middle school team continued their impressive season with a win in the first round of the ACCAC playoffs on Monday afternoon. The Panthers face the 8th seed Kings Academy Lions. The Panther won the first set 25-12 and the second set 25-7. With the win, BCS will play on Thursday, October 19th against Calvary Baptist at 6:15 pm in the Semifinal round. Semifinal and championship games will be held at Valley Forge Baptist Academy in Collegeville, PA. 

The girls varsity team welcomed the Valley Forge Baptist Patriots to BCS on Tuesday afternoon. The last time these two got together, the match went to a thrilling 5-set match down to the wire.  The Panthers came out on top. This time around, the Panthers came out amped up and ready early. BCS jumped to a big first set lead and won 25-14. Playing in front of a loud crowd, the Panthers would again jump out to a big lead in the 2nd set and cruised to a 25-16 2nd set victory. Like any sport, finishing off an oponent to secure a win is never easy. The Panthers had to dig deep and come from behind in the 3rd set. Down 21-17, Giana Kasper helped run off 6 straight service points to help put the Patriots away for good. Behind the stellar defense of Emma DeBoer, Erica Meyers, Faith Rex and the rest of the Panthers squad, the Panthers won the third and final set 25-21 in a straight set sweep. BCS will now face-off against the Bucks of Upper Bucks Christian on Friday, October 20 at 7:00 pm.
